Share it immediately and build urgency with countdown posts.
Friday is the global music release day — all major new music drops on Friday. This maximizes your chances of appearing on New Music Friday playlists and gives you the full weekend (highest streaming days) to accumulate plays. Avoid Monday-Thursday releases — they're out of sync with editorial cycles and listener behavior. Release at midnight local time or 12:01 AM EST to maximize the full day.
