What the AI does to your song

  1. 1. It listens to the whole track

    It measures loudness in LUFS, the peaks, how wide the dynamics are and where the energy sits from the low end to the top. Already loud, dense mixes get less compression so they are not squashed twice.

  2. 2. It cleans and balances the tone

    A low cut removes rumble you cannot hear but that eats headroom. Shelves and a mid band even out boomy, boxy or dull mixes. For AI songs from Suno or Udio it also tames the harsh, metallic top end those models often leave.

  3. 3. It glues the mix together

    Gentle bus compression and light saturation make the drums, bass and vocal sit as one record instead of separate parts.

  4. 4. It sets the loudness for where you release

    Choose Natural, Balanced or Loud, or Heavy for club and rap records from −8 to −5 LUFS with a Punch to Density control. A true-peak limiter keeps peaks under the ceiling, so the song does not distort after Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube convert it.

  5. 5. You check it before you pay

    Play the original and the master side by side at the same loudness, so you judge the sound and not just the volume. Download a 24-bit WAV when you are happy with it.

What the AI mastering chain does

    Measure

    Loudness is measured as K-weighted, gated integrated LUFS to ITU-R BS.1770, the same method the streaming platforms use when they normalise your track. Nothing is guessed from peak level.

    Shape

    Genre-aware EQ and multiband compression handle the tonal balance, then a de-harsh stage measures the 5 to 10 kHz range and cuts only what is actually there. AI exports usually need that; a live recording usually does not.

    Level

    A look-ahead limiter works toward your chosen loudness while protecting peaks. Peak protection can keep the result quieter than the target. Lossy encoding can change peaks, so check the delivered file too.

  4. 4

    Compare

    Switch between the original and mastered audio. Enable Match loudness for a fairer comparison, then listen for vocal clarity, bass definition and preserved transients rather than volume alone.

What do I get before paying?

You can master your track and compare it against the original before paying. Downloading the finished WAV or MP3 needs a membership at EUR 4.99 a month, billed monthly, cancel any time.

When do I need an account?

Only to download. Upload a track, master it, and compare it against your original first.

Does my music get uploaded to a server?

No. Mastering runs in your browser using the Web Audio API, so the audio stays on your device. A file only leaves your machine if you choose to save a finished master to your library.

Does it work on Suno and Udio tracks?

Yes. Start with the best available export from Suno or Udio. If the source has harshness, hiss or unstable vocals, preview repair before mastering. Processing can reduce some problems, but cannot guarantee the recovery of missing or distorted musical detail.

What loudness should I master to?

Choose a starting preset, then judge the dynamics and tone at matched listening levels. These are MixMasterAI settings, not mandatory delivery specifications. Playback normalization varies by service and listener settings. Do not sacrifice punch just to reach a number.

What formats can I export?

24-bit WAV and 320 kbps MP3, once a membership is active.
