Canvas only appears on Spotify Mobile (iOS/Android). It doesn't show on desktop
Check that your video file meets all spec requirements (9:16, under 30 MB, 3–8 seconds)
Canvas requires Spotify Premium for some listener types to display consistently
Most common causes: (1) Less than 48 hours since upload. It takes time to propagate. (2) You're checking on desktop. Canvas only shows on mobile. (3) Video doesn't meet spec (wrong aspect ratio, over 30 MB, wrong format). (4) You're not playing the track on mobile while logged in to Spotify. (5) The track is in a market where canvas isn't available.
Spotify occasionally rolls back canvases that receive reports (for inappropriate content) or are flagged by automatic systems. Re-upload if the content is clean. Also check your Spotify for Artists dashboard. The canvas status should show 'Active'.
Canvas works for tracks distributed through all major distributors (DistroKid, TuneCore, CD Baby, Amuse, AWAL, etc.) as long as the track is verified in Spotify for Artists. Tracks that aren't claimed in Spotify for Artists cannot have canvas added.
