You've made your canvas. Now how do you actually upload it? Here's the exact process for adding a canvas to your Spotify track through Spotify for Artists. This works on both the mobile app and the web dashboard.
Go to artists.spotify.com and log in to your Spotify for Artists account
Find your track in the Music section and click on it
Click 'Add Canvas' (or 'Edit Canvas' if one already exists)
Upload your MP4 file. If it doesn't meet spec, Spotify will show an error message
Canvas goes live within 24–48 hours after upload
Web: go to artists.spotify.com → Music → find your track → click the track → click 'Canvas' in the track detail view. Mobile app: tap 'Music' → tap your track → tap 'Add Canvas'.
Check that your video file is: under 30 MB, MP4 format, between 3–8 seconds, and 9:16 aspect ratio. MixMasterAI-generated canvases meet all these specs automatically.
Usually 24–48 hours after upload. It appears immediately for you when you're logged in to Spotify (as preview), but the public rollout takes a day or two.
